4 amazing things you can do with a paperclip!

Want to expand your your currently limited uses for a common office item? Well no more will you preform the uncultivated act of using these useful objects to hold your papers together. Today we explore the paper clip!

Reset electronics

Lets start with a simple yet one of my favorite functions for a paperclip.  It can sometimes appear to be a formidable task to find an object to reach that little indent on many of your electronic items. I have yet to find a reset switch that cannot be reached by a paper clip.

Clippy

If you happened to use a version of Microsoft Office 97 to his last appearance in Microsoft Office 2003 you were actually able to engage in a conversation with a paper clip! His name was Clippy. "It looks like you're writing a letter.".

Bet you weren't expecting that one.

Bookmark

Another great use for paperclips are related to an activity I often engage in, and that's reading. They make great bookmarks if you attach a string or piece of ribbon to the top.

Cellphone stand

With a pair of pliers and a larger paperclip you can actually make a very sturdy cellphone stand by completely straightening out the paperclip then bending the middle to make to make a "U" shape then flipping the ends upward.
